Tune the A string first, then D, G and E. Tap a string to hear a steady note, and tap it again to stop. Turn the peg or fine tuner slowly until your string matches and stops wobbling.
Play the open string, then the same note an octave higher with your 3rd finger on the next string up. When the 3rd finger is exactly in tune, the open string starts ringing by itself.
Reading practice: work out the hidden marks yourself, then play or tap the note to check. The current note always shows them.
Pick the bars that need work, slow the speed down, and press Play. The passage is shaded on the music.

Notes, fingerings and bowings follow Suzuki Violin School, Volumes 1 and 2. Grace notes, trills, pizzicato and chords are left out of the playback. The pieces Dr. Suzuki composed himself are still under copyright, so they aren't included here. You can type them in from your own book in Editor mode.
